Tokki Nails

Tokki Nails was a self-initiated project exploring end-to-end brand building for a home-based press-on nail service, spanning identity design, product photography, advertising, and social media strategy.
Beyond design, the project gave me a firsthand look at what it takes to run a product. I committed to posting at least three times a week, tracked content performance, managed customer queries, and handled orders end to end — wearing every hat from creative director to customer service.
The Tokki Nails identity is built around a soft, feminine aesthetic with a cute bunny character at its core. The bunny mascot logo is minimal and rounded, instantly recognisable and full of charm without being overly complex.
The colour palette centres on warm, dusty rose tones, creating a cohesive world that feels gentle and approachable all at once. Typography pairs the calligraphic BlackChancery for headers with the clean neutrality of Open Sans for body text, striking a balance between elegance and readability. Together, they give the brand a boutique, editorial quality that elevates it beyond a typical small business aesthetic.
