A tribute to Singapore's hawker heritage.
This project developed an infographic and 2-minute explanatory video centred on Bak Chor Mee, tracing the dish back to the hawkers who historically carried noodle stalls on their shoulders. That curved posture became the visual metaphor at the heart of the work, connecting culinary origin to pioneer hardship.
Infographic Design
Drawing inspiration from Obey Revolution Art, the visual language uses red, black, and white to strengthen historical resonance.
Motion Graphics
The motion graphics pair ten narrated sentences with Chinese instrumental music, letting the rhythm of the soundtrack guide the animation of each keyframe.
